Hi! I am a Grade 5 teacher in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada. I attended a workshop today given by a teacher in Markham, Ontario, who is participating in the Friends and Flags program this year. I am very excited about sharing this unique learning experience with the staff and students at my school. A colleague and I will be registering for next year's program tomorrow. The work on this site is simply outstanding! Congratlations on a superb example of collaboration.

This is the most rewarding global projects that I have participated in. My students have taken pride in presenting their work to each other, to parents and to their international partners. It was also very rewarding to receive packages from our partner countries. I plan to join again next year! Wendy, Canada

It has been a surprise for me to discover that teachers around the world are taking advantage of the Internet in such a creative way. Thank you for sharing your project and for letting us be part of it. Congratulations for the award you just deserved! Miss Carmen Morquecho, Mexico City, Mexico.
